Passports of the 5 family members who came to Entre Ríos from Bessarabia: ELA BANCHIK, MARIAM NEMECHANSKY and her children: BRANA , YENTA and ANTCHEL (the latter was Pedro Banchik’s(director) grandfather, who was 15 years old when he arrived in Argentina)

 

Pedro Banchik’s grandparents on his father’s side: Angel Banchik (born in Yedinetz, Bessarabia on October 20, 1890) and Ana Keselman (born in Vasilkoba, Bessarabia on October 15, 1892). In 1963, they celebrated their golden anniversary and in 1973 they emigrated to Israel.

Picture of the Keselman family taken in Bessarabia in 1897, a few months before they emigrated to Argentina. The small girl standing is Pedro Banchik’s grandmother, ANA KESELMAN, who was 6 years old at that time.
